We’re incredibly pleased to announce that the amazing Cooks R&D team has successfully achieved Wind Load Class 5 on the Titan Industrial Roller Shutter when manufactured and installed with wind locked guides.
Having carried out 6 separate tests in varying widths and component characteristics, including lath gauge and guide type, the Titan is now offered with Wind Load Class 5 certification and wind locked guides as standard for all shutters over 4000mm wide.
The independently certified testing was carried out in accordance with European standard BS EN 12424, involving tests with positive and negative pressure.
The certification offers the highest performance class available, and reaffirms Cooks Doors policy of continuous product development.
The Titan industrial Roller Shutter door is available with operation via hand chain, 3-phase or 1-phase motor. It comes galvanised as standard, with Plastisol or PPC colour finishes at additional cost.
