What Does Secured by Design Mean? 

Secured by Design (SBD) is an official police organisation that works with police forces, architects, developers and local authority planners to improve the security of buildings through design. Designing buildings, housing estates and premises with preventative measures in mind from the first phase of development, so that security is built in, makes for safer neighbourhoods with reduced crime rates. 

What Products are Secured by Design Accredited? 

We supply and install a range of security doors that are tested to strictest standards, the Tuff-Dor, Outa-Dor and Secur-Dor are manufactured to order to perfectly fit the setting without compromise. Suitable for a vast range of venues, with full customisation available regarding colours, coatings, glazing, panels and fittings you can design the door to suit its location. These heavy-duty doors are not only accredited by Secured by Design, but are compliant with a number of industry recognised standards: 

• Tuff-Dor Steel Security Doors : Tested to LPS 1175 – SR2, SR3 and SR4
• Outa-Dor Exterior Steel Doorsets : CE Marked to BS EN 14351-1
• Secur-Dor Blast Resistant Security Doors : Intruder Resistant tested to BN EN 1627:2011, Certified by Warrington Exova Certisecure STS 202 PAS 24 and Explosive Resistant BS EN 13124-2:2004 EXR2

We are also a partner with Hormann UK, whose industrial sectional doors, the SPU F42 and the SPU 67 Thermo are accredited by Secured by Design. These large scale industrial doors are suited to a huge range of applications, such as fire stations, warehouses and factories, and are available with a range of automation and operation controls to suit vehicular access.
