They contacted Cooks Doors to upgrade their roller shutter doors to Hormann Decotherms leaving ample drive through space for the cars and vans.

Improved Performance and Security

For the upper showroom floors, two Decotherm DD rolling shutters were installed. The new doors boast impressive thermal insulation (4.1 W/(m²*K)), keeping the showroom comfortable for both customers and staff. Additionally, they offer excellent soundproofing (18 dB(A)), minimising noise distractions.

The used car side features a door with a clear drive-through width of 3200mm, while the new car side offers a wider opening of 3400mm.

Durability and Weather Resistance

Built to withstand the elements, the Decotherm doors achieve a Class 3 wind resistance. They are also CE Marked, ensuring compliance with the highest safety standards.

Smooth Operation and Safety Features

The doors operate with a three-phase electric motor and include a low-level emergency hand chain for power outages. Safety features include a safety edge, photocell, and auto-return functionality.

Increased Speed Door for the Workshop

For the workshop area, a Decotherm DD S6 roller shutter door was installed. This door prioritises speed for efficient workflow and complies with the latest safety regulations (BS EN 13241). Additionally, it offers a soft start/stop function for smooth operation.
